FI(A) - Flight Instructor Qualification

Embark on an exciting journey to become a qualified flight instructor with our FI (A) Flight Instructor Training Program. During the course, you will receive comprehensive training consisting of 30 flight training hours and 125 hours of theory lessons, equipping you with the skills necessary to excel in your role.

Comprehensive Syllabus and Practical Experience

As a flight instructor, you will play a crucial role in shaping future pilots. Our theory classes focus on familiarizing you with current teaching methods in aviation and developing essential interpersonal skills.

Training begins with an entrance examination, ensuring that you are prepared to commence your official training and become a flight instructor. Practical training is completed in a Tecnam P2002JF in combination with a Cessna C150 Acrobat and is complemented by a flight simulator session. Other aircraft types such as Piper PA -28 GTN750 or Cessna C172SP G1000 can be included in the training as an option.

Upon successfully graduating from the FI (A) Flight Instructor Training Program and passing the flight instructor skills test, we welcome the best of you to discuss possibility to join our instructor team. Enrollment Requirements

To enroll in our FI (A) Flight Instructor Training Program, you must meet the following requirements:
 

  • Minimum age of 18 years

  • Medical Class II certification or higher

  • CPL(A) license or PPL (A) license and completion of CPL (A) theory with a minimum of 150 hours of flight time as a Pilot in Command (PIC)

  • ICAO English minimum level 4

Courses Start Dates:

The course starts at the beginning of September 2023. Last available places.

 

Entry flight exam, then 1 week (40 hours) of initial group ground theory lessons, then practical training 30 hours.

Expanding Your Instructor Qualifications

We also offer you the opportunity to expand your instructor qualifications. Whether you are interested in instrument flying or another class of aircraft, we offer add-on courses such as CRI MEP, IRI, FI (A)g and more. The time spent as an instructor up to that point may even count toward meeting the requirements for these additional qualifications.
